A Glorious History of Vedic Preservation
Spread over a span of 35 years, Shri Veda Bharathi (SVB) was conceptually formed in 1991 and registered in 1994.
It is managed and advised by a distinguished group sharing a common interest in the preservation of Vedic wisdom, including:
- Administrators of the IAS cadre
- Scientists from the Nuclear Fuel Complex & ECIL
- Medical Technologists from NIMS
- Chartered Accountants and Banking Professionals
Shri Veda Bharathi is recognised as the first organisation to promote the concept of preservation of Vedas by design and development of computerized database of Vedas as far back as 1992.
Dr. RVSS Avadhanulu, the Founder Managing Trustee and Chief Executive of SVB, was awarded the patent rights by Government of India, for his “Design and Development of multilingual and multimedia Vedic Database”.
